The Mountain West had one of their worst seasons since conference expansion last year, so 2016 is focused on improvements across the board. The only problem is that the league still looks like a three horse race with Boise State, Air Force, and San Diego State looking to dominate. Can Nevada step up? The conference execs sure hope so, because it can't get much worse. The items to watch are what happens in year two at UNLV under Tony Sanchez, and we are also waiting to see if Tim DeRuyter can right the ship at Fresno State, or be shown the door at the end of the season.
