I am currently watching Oregon/Oregon State. There is a ton on the line in the next couple of hours from around college football, so let's start with some coaching updates, and we'll move on from there.
Colorado
Embree to the Buffs looks solid now, even without an announcement, as the Vikings have announced that Bienemy will join CU after the season as OC.
Ball State
It's a short fall from the top to the bottom when it comes to job hunting. Brian Polian was a favorite for this job yesterday, and now he seems to be out of the running for the job.
Minnesota
footballscoop.com is reporting that Paul Chryst has interviewed with the Gophers.
Miami
Tommy Tuberville is denying contact from Miami. The more the denial, the more likely that they have contacted him.
Arkansas State
Hugh Freeze is said to be trying to get Georgia State DC John Thompson for his staff.
UT-San Antonio
Also according to footballscoop, UTSA has brought on former Texas State assistant Kevin Brown as TE coach.
Northern Colorado
Also backing the Embree to Colorado story is that Brian Cabral is talking with the folks at UNC. Former Illinois State HC Denver Johnson seems to be in the mix as well as Jimmy Heggins. Also, Kaiser Coons reported yesterday that Derek Frazier (OC, Fresno State) would be in the mix here as well.
