When you have as much returning experience as Purdue does, expectations have to be high. That is why we will have Danny Hope on the hot seat, as if he does not make a run at a really good bowl this season, or if he fails to even pick up a winning record, he may find his way out, as he spent all of last season in that same place. Expectations will be raging, and he will carry the torch. Purdue has enough on paper to challenge as an upset candidate for a major run at a divisional title, and it would be a huge disappointment if they don't make that run.
