Missouri Tigers 2012 Preview

Gary Pinkel has had some success in his career at Missouri, but Missouri was never a functional power in the Big 12 on any regularity, so I find it almost laughable that the SEC will be any more hospitable to the long term chances of the Tigers than the Big 12 was. Missouri has dropped, in my opinion, from a top 4 Big 12 program to a top 8 program in the SEC, and their chances there may not be that good. They believe that with increased money and conference status, that they will be able to attract bigger recruits, and more national attention.
