Offense: The Gators lose Demi-God QB Tim Tebow, but actually may have a better passer in John Brantley,who can also run when he has to. Shockingly, the Gators may not miss much of a beat with Brantley leading this unit. Jeff Demps is listed as the #1 back, but Emmanuel Moody and Mike Gillislee will work in to a rotation. Deonte Thompson is the lone returning WR. He should be joined by Chris Rainey and Carl Moore, and Jordan Reed is in line to replace Aaron Hernandez at TE. 4 starters return on the line, which is headlined by RG Mike Pouncey.

Defense: There is depth on the line and the secondary, but the LB corps is a little new. Brandon Hicks is the lone returning starting LB. There is experience at DT with Terron Sanders and Lawrence Marsh both return, and the future looks bright with freshmen Dominique Easley and Shariff Floyd. Justin Trattou is a potential pass rushing machine, but freshman Ronald Powell will push to play at DE.  Duke Lemmons had a big spring at DE as well. Ahmad Black and Will Hill both return at the safety spots, and Janoris Jenkins will be back at CB. The Gators had the 2nd best pass defense in the nation. Jeremy Brown (CB) looks to be the lone new starter.

Special Teams: Caleb Sturgis is back at PK, but he is not the best kicker around. Chas Henry is a big time punter, and he can change a game with his leg.

Toss Games: 10/2 @ Alabama

Losses: None

The non-conference schedule is a bit of a joke, but it is every year. The Gators could win every game on the schedule this season, and it will be up to Bama to stop the offense in what could be the only chance at a legit loss this season.

Outlook: Florida looks like they have every shot at dethroning Alabama in the SEC this season, even without Tebow. The Gators are one of the strongest teams in the nation coming into 2010, and I expect them to be in the hunt fot title at the end of the season.
