Finalists and Winner: 2013 FBS All-Bilo Defensive Lineman of the Year

We now switch our focus to defense for our 2013 Awards Season. We begin with our finalists for FBS Defensive Lineman of the Year. They are as follows:

Aaron Donald-Pittsburgh
Jackson Jeffcoat-Texas
Kareem Martin-North Carolina

Our winner for 2013 was all over the field, not only on defense, but on special teams as well, and wreaked havoc weekly. He won the award by approximately 8000 points in our scoring table, as this was once again a highly competitive position this year. Without further delay, the winner is:

Aaron Donald-Pittsburgh
Donald was a popular player during awards season across the board this season, and it was well deserved. Donald led the nation with an amazing 28.5 Tackles For Loss in 2013, averaging 2.19 per game, and totaling 142 yards. His TFLs and average both led the nation, while his yardage ranked second. Donald totaled 11.5 sacks on the season, and finished with 4.59 tackles per game off the line. Donald also forced 16 QB hurries on the year, while breaking up 3 passes, forcing 4 fumbles, and adding a blocked kick for good measure. Congratulations to Aaron Donald, and to the Pittsburgh Program!
