OFFENSE
304.8 yards per game
3 different QBs saw significant time at QB in 2010, with Myron Gary, Ryan Singer, and Brandon Miley piling up significant time. The bad news is that not one of them managed to separate from the others, and not one of them got close to passing for 1000 yards. Singer had the highest rating at 120, but only tossed 4 TDs against 4 picks. Only Miley and Singer return next season, but Singer would be the better long term prospect, as he will only be a sophomore.
Trandon Dendy was the only player on the roster that had a decent season, as he rushed for 734 yards, but the senior is moving on, and there is no depth behind him. Dendy rushed for 6 TDs on the season.
Michael Ruff and Jeremy Cole did what they could as receivers, but they only combined to grab 65 receptions for 897 yards and 9 scores. Good numbers for one receiver, not so much for 2 combined.
DEFENSE
392.6 yards allowed per game
The Blue Hose could not stop the run to save their lives. PC allowed a whopping 228.9 yards per game on the ground, and games against Wake Forest and Clemson did not help. The pass D was not horrible, but then again, when you can't stop the run, why should teams try to pass against you? There is not much to say about the D, so we'll move on.
SPECIAL TEAMS
The steength of this unit was Patrick Morgano, who averaged 39 yards per game as the punter. With scoring not coming in droves, the FG game was not much of a blip on the radar.
FINAL NOTES
There is no way that Presbyterian has much of any right to be a member of FCS or D1 in any sport. They are so far under the bar of competition on this level, that it almost comes off as a joke. The schedule was a mess with those dates against Clemson and Wake Forest. PC had no right to attempt to play those schools, and is destined to be a bottom feeder for quite some time.
