Notes: The Spartans have one of the earliest bye weeks in the nation, as they are idle on September 10th, the second full week of college football...Sparty will have a 15 day break between the opener with Furman and a road trip to Notre Dame...MSU will not play their final non con game until a home date with BYU on October 8th, a late date in Big 10 play...The schedule is all over the place, with landmines around every corner. Do not be surprised to see Sparty take a slight step back this season...
