I close out my Big 12 2016 schedule breakdowns with West Virginia...
9/3 Missouri
9/10 Youngstown State
9/24 BYU at Landover, MD
10/1 Kansas State
10/15 at Texas Tech
10/22 TCU
10/29 at Oklahoma State
11/5 Kansas
11/12 at Texas
11/19 Oklahoma
11/26 at Iowa State
12/3 Baylor
Notes: WVU will have two bye weeks before we even get to the middle of October, which will make it difficult to establish an early flow...Every non con game could present unique challenges to WVU, including a date with FCS member Youngstown State. WVU gets Missouri at home, and then BYU in a neutral site game (why?) around the YSU game...October could result in a 2-2 split, which would be necessary after what could be a tough opening month...If WVU can start 2-1, and split October at 2-2, WVU absolutely needs wins over Kansas and Iowa State in November to go bowling. The Mountaineers will likely not be favored in November in games against Texas. Oklahoma, and Baylor.
Overall Projected Record: 5-7...I foresee a new football coach in Morgantown in 2017.
