Notes: OU has the talent to compete for a playoff birth, but the schedule is daunting. OU will only play back to back home games once, and will not play a game in Norman from 9/17 to 10/15...The Sooners are definitely challenged early with a road game at a very strong Houston Cougar team, and a home game 2 weeks later with Ohio State. A road trip follows 2 weeks after the Buckeyes with TCU.,,October should be a relatively friendly month after a brutal September, as a road trip at TCU is the most challenging game in the month. OU always has a tough time with Texas, but OU should be favored there...2 of the final 4 games provide intense challenges, but OU gets both Baylor and Oklahoma State at home.
