Here is a look at the Longhorns 2016 schedule...
9/4 Notre Dame
9/10 UTEP
9/17 at California
10/1 at Oklahoma State
10/8 Oklahoma at Dallas
10/15 Iowa State
10/22 at Kansas State
10/29 Baylor
11/5 at Texas Tech
11/12 West Virginia
11/19 at Kansas
11/25 TCU
Notes: Texas may be a decent underdog to Notre Dame, but the rest of the non con schedule is completely winnable with games against UTEP at home and Cal on the road...This is not a good year for season ticket holders in Austin. From 9/10 through 10/29, the Horns will play at home just twice. They play three consecutive games away from Austin from 9/17 through a 10/8 neutral site game with OU in Dallas...If Texas can hold it together early, they could be favored in 3 of their final 4 games. Texas should be a favorite against Texas Tech, West Virginia, and Kansas, but will likely be a dog against TCU at home in the season finale...If Texas can start 2-2, and finish 3-1, they would need just a win over Iowa State in October to get back to a bowl once again.
Overall Projected Record: 7-5
