Conference Race Update: American Athletic Conference

Still Alive: Memphis, UCF, Cincinnati

Memphis is in control of their own destiny at this point. The Tigers have a half game lead as of now, and they have already beaten Cincinnati this season. However, they do not play UCF, which gives the edge to either UCF or Memphis.
UCF is right at the heels of the Tigers for the conference title, and it would be down to a tie breaker for the conference championship bowl birth.
Cincinnati has already lost to Memphis, but the Bearcats also haven't played UCF, and won't this season. Having been beaten by Memphis, the Bearcats have the longest odds of stealing the conference title without help from either UCF or Memphis at this point.

Final Schedule

Memphis: 11/22 vs. USF; 11/29 vs. U Conn
Projection: Memphis wins both games.

UCF: 11/22 vs. SMU; 11/28 @ USF; 12/4 @ East Carolina
Projection: SMU and USF are wins, ECU is a toss

Cincinnati: 11/22 @ U Conn; 11/29 @ Temple; 12/6 vs. Houston
Projection: UC could lose two of these three final games, or go 2-1. Winning out is highly against the odds

Conference Title Projection: Memphis
