Jordan Chunn was limited to just 56 yards rushing and a 2.8 yards per carry average, but still managed to score 3 TDs as Troy used a late defensive stand to hold off Ohio for a win in Mobile. Troy finished with 10 wins on the season, while Ohio dropped to just 8-6. The loss for the Bobcats was their 3rd in their final 4 games of the season.
Greg Windham passed for 315 yards and a pair of scores for the Bobcats, but was also picked 4 times in the loss. Brandon Silvers had an equally rough game for Troy, passing for 235 yards and a score, but he finished with 2 picks, as the teams combined for 6 picks on the day.
Jordan Reid had a big day in the loss for Ohio, as he caught 12 passes for 162 yards and a score. On the flip side, the run game for the Bobcats was abysmal, as they finished with just 78 yards rushing on 30 carries.
Troy finished with just 87 yards rushing on 30 carries in the win.
Both teams missed one FG on the day.
Michael Farkas averaged just 32.5 yards per punt on the day for Ohio.
Greg Windham was picked 4 times, which is the same number of pick he had for the entire season entering the game for Ohio.
