The Bruins signed 7 players in free agency thus far, with 4 of those deals being NHL contracts. The NHL deals include G Jaraslov Harak (2 years, $2.75 million cap), D John Moore (2 years, $2.75 million cap), F Joakim Nordstrom (2 years, $1 million cap), and F Chris Wagner (2 years, $1.75 million cap). D Cody Goloubef, and F Mark McNeill, were both signed on two way deals, with both of them likely headed to Providence.
Axel Andersson was signed to an entry level deal.
Halak started 49 games with Buffalo last season, and finished with a 20-26-6 record on the season in goal. Moore finished with 18 points in New Jersey last season, and 22 points the season before, with a career high 12 goals. He has also played in Arizona, with the Rangers, and with Columbus. Nordstrom played in 156 games over the last two seasons with Carolina. Wagner split time with Anaheim and the Islanders last season and finished with 253 hits, good for 3rd in the league.
The Bruins have lost 5 Group 2 FAs, while 5 remain unsigned. They lost both of their group 6 FAs, and have 3 Group 2 FAs unsigned. Justin Hickman is an unsigned UFA.
