2016 All-Bilo Quarterback of the Year: FBS

With it being championship week, it is also awards week here at the Bilo College Football Report, as we wrap up the season that was in 2016. We begin with our FBS Quarterback of the Year.

The finalists that I decided from are as follows:

Lamar Jackson, Louisville
Zach Terrell, Western Michigan
Sam Darnold, USC
Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma
Logan Woodside, Toledo

The winner of my All-Bilo College Football 2016 Quarterback of the Year Award for FBS football is:

Lamar Jackson, Louisville
Despite a tough finish to the season for the Cardinals, no QB better personified the position than Lamar Jackson. He passed for 3542 yards and 30 scores, and rushed for 1571 more yards and another 21 scores on the season to create one of the more memorable seasons of any college player in recent memory.
It is our honor to award Lamar Jackson our 2016 FBS All-Bilo Quarterback of the Year. Congratulations to Lamar and to the Louisville program.
