As the Carousel Turns: 11/17/16 Update

Purdue
According to multiple sources, Les Miles has had preliminary conversations with Purdue about their open job. Mike Bobinsky, the new AD, has said that he planned to up the Purdue football commitment, and this would indicate that to be true more than an uninspiring meeting with Greg Olson. It would seem that Air Force coach Troy Calhoun is back in consideration as well after falling off the grid for some time.

Baylor
Les Miles appears to be in play at Baylor as well as at Purdue, and has been the only actual candidate mentioned thus far to replace Jim Grobe at the end of the season. Tom Herman could possibly be in play here, but the surrounding drama may keep him away.

FCS

Liberty
With AD Jeff Barber resigning, it would seem that Turner Gill could be in some trouble with the Flames. Liberty just finished their season tonight, and were 42-7 losers to Coastal Carolina, which wraps the Flames season at 6-5, and will likely ensure that the FCS playoffs are far out of reach. Gill has never gotten the Flames on track, and could be replaced by the new AD, as soon as one is named.

D2

Glenville State
There has been a change at Glenville State, as David Hutchinson resigns after going 34-32 in six seasons at the school. No candidate have been named as of yet.

Missouri Western State
Jerry Partridge resigned after 20 seasons and 149 wins at the school. Again, no candidates have been named at this time.
