Bilo's College Football Conference Title Chase Reports: Big 12

Big 12

Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, West Virginia
The Big 12 has turned into a 2 week playoff for Oklahoma, as they can start by knocking out West Virginia next week after blowing out Baylor 45-24 today. Oklahoma plays the Mountaineers next week, and then finishes with Bedlam the following week for what could be a conference title game. After the win today, Oklahoma is now 23-3 all-time against Baylor.
Oklahoma State stayed alive in the conference race by holding off Texas Tech 45-44 today after a missed PAT by the Red Raiders late in the game was followed by the Cowboys holding on to an onside kick. OSU takes on a resurgent TCU next week, and if they win, the Bedlam game becomes the Big 12 title game. Remember, the Cowboys have already beaten West Virginia, so WVU needs to beat Oklahoma, and then have Oklahoma beat Oklahoma State to stay in it. No pressure.
West Virginia took care of some business today, beating Texas 24-20 in Austin to stay in the race.

Bowl Eligible: Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Baylor
Bowl Ineligible: Iowa State, Kansas
