College Football Week 5 PASS/FAIL Report: ACC

ACC

PASS: Miami, Clemson, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Boston College, Florida State
Miami: The Hurricane defense stepped up in a big way in a dominating win over Duke.
Clemson: The Tigers passed a major test in a win over Virginia Tech, and now are in control of ACC.
Louisville: Cardinals merely had to concentrate in win over Murray State, and they did.
Georgia Tech: Yellow Jackets are looking like a Coastal favorite after easy win over UNC.
Boston College: Eagles can certainly handle MAC teams, as they did in win over Central Michigan.
Florida State: Seminoles needed to avoid an 0-3 start, and took care of it in win over Wake Forest.

INCOMPLETE: NC State
NC State: The Wolfpack may have been looking ahead to Louisville, and scraped by with Syracuse.

FAIL: Duke, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Wake Forest
Duke: Blue Devils finally hit the wall against Miami, which we had all been waiting for.
Virginia Tech: Hokies ghosts caught up to them as offense could not get cranking in loss to Clemson.
North Carolina: Tar Heels are reeling, and they cannot settle their QB issues.
Pittsburgh: Panthers are all over the place, and got controlled from start to finish against GT.
Syracuse: The Orange have had some chances in losses to LSU and NC State, but came up short.
Wake Forest: Deacons hit the wall much like Duke did in loss to FSU, offense is suspect.
