Coaching News Update 11/29 1:45 PM PST

New news on the coaching front...

Tulane
footballscoop.com is stating that a 3pm meeting is being held between Bob Toledo and AD Rick Dickson to discuss the program. Those meetings usually end with a firing, which is contrary to what was said a week ago. I have had Toledo in my Dead Pool for a while now, so his release would not be a surprise.

UL-Lafayatte
Ricky Bustle is getting $100,000 as his buyout. Mike Canales is the only candidate that has been discussed.

Minnesota
footballscoop is also reporting that Larry Fedora (HC Southern Miss) is on campus today. Not that Fedora has done anything to jump around about at Southern Miss. It's getting bad in Gopher country.

Indiana
Scott Shafer appears to be on the candidate list now. He is the DC at Syracuse. Again, hardly a splashy name. Don't put too much into this.

Arkansas State
Steve Roberts may have been a bit premature about sending his staff on recruiting trips over the weekend. He is out at Arkansas State, another move that we have been predicting for weeks.

North Carolina A&T
Alonzo Lee is out. Hardly a shock as the aggies were awful once again in 2010. George Ragsdale is interim HC.

Washington State
Rumors are starting to surface about the fate of Paul Wulff. It would hardly be a shock to see an announcement after the Apple Cup this week against Washington.

UCLA
More rumors surfacing today about the fate of both OC Norm Chow and DC Chuck Bullough. Both could be gone as soon as early next week after the USC game. Neuheisel is sounding desperate to save his own skin as well.

Sacred Heart
No new news as of this moment. Still scanning the Connecticut headlines to see what develops there.
