FBS MVP Candidates-Punt Returns Edition 11/9

Shaky Smithson, Utah
Smithson averages 22.8 yards per return this season, and when he returns a punt, he sets the Utes up to score quickly. He has also taken 2 of those returns to the house.

Cliff Harris, Oregon
Harris has returned 3 punts for scores and averages almost 22 yards per return. Just another factor that is driving the Ducks towards the title game.

Tony Logan, Maryland
The Terps are a much improved team, and Logan moves his team into position every time another team is stupid enough to kick his way. He has 2 returns for scores.

Patrick Peterson, LSU
LSU has gotten some big boosts from this masterful return artist. He has run 2 back for scores, and is dynamic whenever he gets near the ball.

Jeremy Kerley, TCU
Kerley is the poster child for being multi-dimensional. Great receiver and return man. He also plays for the #1 team in the PRS. Coincidnece? I don't think so.

HONORABLE MENTION

Ronald Johnson, USC
Joe Adams, Arkansas
Doug Beaumont, Louisville
Terrell Johnson, Buffalo
Patrick Edwards, Houston
