DEAD POOL
Mike London, Virginia
Word on the street was that London needed 8 wins this
season to save his job. If the Cavaliers lose one more game, that won’t be
possible. Looks like the end is near.
Curtis Johnson, Tulane
It’s a tricky situation in New Orleans, as the current AD
is stepping down in June. He is currently helping find his replacement. Does he
fire Johnson and hire his successor for the new AD, or does he let it ride so
the new AD can deal with it. If it’s to happen before 2016, it has to be after
this season, because this cannot wait until June.
George O’Leary, UCF
O’Leary is being a real prick about giving information
about his contract, which is a matter of public record, but he will not relent
in giving up the details. Either way, O’Leary’s days are numbered at UCF.
Paul Rhoades, Iowa State
The fans have already accepted that the axe is coming,
but ISU will let it ride until the end of the season, which is keeping it
classy.
Darrell Hazell, Purdue
Purdue is a mess. At least there isn’t anything in the
way of off-field drama making it worse. Hazell has one foot out the door, and
it would be shocking to see Hazell there next season.
Kyle Flood, Rutgers
How Rutgers even allowed Flood to come back from
suspension is beyond me. If Flood is still there in 2016, I will print this out
and eat it on a YouTube video for all to see. No way that happens.
Norm Chow, Hawaii
Hawaii is now 2-5 and 0-3 in MWC play, and the MWC is not
good this season. There is no way that the administration can allow this to
continue, and Chow looks like he knows it.
Derek Mason, Vanderbilt
Vandy is now 2-4 and 0-3 in SEC play, and the ship is
sinking fast with a QB issue now brewing. This is just ugly.
Trent Miles, Georgia State
At least Miles got a win last week. GSU beat Ball State,
but the overall product is still terrible.
Doug Martin, New Mexico State
NMSU has lost 16 straight games. That wouldn’t be accepted
anywhere else, so why here?Todd Berry, UL-Monroe
The AD was kind enough to say that there would be no mid-season firing of Berry. What makes this bad is that he had to say it, which means that he will be gone after the season.
