The Title Chase
The West is down to 2 schools in the chase as we close out week 10, as Iowa is in control, with Wisconsin still giving chase. Iowa wins it outright with a Wisconsin loss, but by having already beaten the Badgers, it would take two losses for Iowa to lose out to the Badgers. The West is Iowa’s to lose.
The East just got interesting with Michigan State falling to Nebraska last night. Ohio State won ugly against Minnesota, but stayed in control as we hurtle into the final few weeks of play. The Buckeyes play Michigan State a week after taking on Illinois this week, so it should all come down to that. If the Buckeyes beat Michigan State, Michigan is still on the prowl, and could steal the division by winning out, including beating the Buckeyes, which would be a miracle in Jim Harbaugh’s first season.
