The Title Chase

Arkansas State controls their own destiny at this point with a 5-0 conference record, and they just took out Appalachian State to seal their control factor in the Sun Belt race. ASU has won five straight games at this point, and holds a one game lead over Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, and a 1.5 game lead over UL-Lafayette. The Wolves have an easy path to the title, as they finish with road trips to UL-Monroe and New Mexico State, and a home game with Texas State. All three have losing records.
Appalachian State should be able to pace Arkansas State, as the Mountaineers play at Idaho, home against UL-Lafayette, and at South Alabama to wrap up.
Georgia Southern is a little on the outside, having lost to Appalachian State, but they have consecutive road trips up next with Troy in conference and Georgia outside of it, and home dates to finish the year against South Alabama and Georgia State.
UL-Lafayette, the outsider dark horse this season, gets New Mexico State, a road trip to Appalachian State, and a home date with Troy to finish the year.
