Toledo is in trouble. Despite the tie with Northern Illinois, the Rockets already have a loss to the Huskies this season. The Rockets still have games left at Bowling Green, and a home date with Western Michigan , and they need to win out, which sounds like a meat grinder situation on paper. The Rockets also need NIU to lose.
For the Huskies to claim the division, They need to win out, or they need to at least beat Western Michigan this week, as the Broncos are still in the hunt. NIU closes out their regular season with Ohio. If the Huskies win out, they take the division no matter what Toledo does at this point.
For Western Michigan, there is no more difficult task than what they have to face. WMU must travel to both Toledo and NIU to close out the season, and one loss here would spell certain doom for their chances.
Central Michigan needs a ton of help, but at 4-2, they still survive in the race.
East
Bowling Green has claimed the Division, and currently holds a three game lead in the East. They patiently await their MAC title opponent while taking on Toledo at home (so the Falcons can play spoiler and have a chance to "pick" their opponent), and they finish up on the road against Ball State.
