The Title Chase
Memphis made a huge mess in the West Division by falling
to Navy this weekend, but Navy is a solid football team that has been getting
limited respect at best in that Division by the national media. Memphis
completely fell apart in the 25 point loss, giving Navy and Houston a clearer
path towards their confrontation that is coming up. Memphis is still alive, but
they need Navy to lose twice, and the Tigers must then beat Houston. Houston
and Navy merely need to worry about beating each other at this point. In the East, Temple has taken control with their win at SMU, and now has a 2 game lead in the East. They completely control the situation, and could lock it up next week.
