The Title Chase
Baylor and Oklahoma State control their own destiny here after Oklahoma State took out TCU by 20 this weekend. The CFP committee were not buying into TCU, and obviously, that got into their heads just a bit, and in the wrong way as they set out to lay an egg in Stillwater.
Oklahoma has a loss to Texas this season, and they have to hope that won’t come into play in a tie breaker, but the sooners still have to play everyone in the mix for the Big 12 title, and I cannot see how they come out unscathed, but anything is possible.
Oklahoma State still has to take on both Baylor and Oklahoma, and controls the Big 12 with both wins in those games.
Baylor seems to me to be in the driver’s seat, and when you combine our PRS rankings with our QWI system, Baylor is actually the best team in the country, but the Big 12 is one of the weakest overall of the Power 5 leagues. That should sit well with the Bears, but they must still get through Oklahoma State, Oklahoma (this week), and TCU. It’s a wild November for the Bears.
Overall, this is still a 4 team race, but we will see more settling out of that issue this week if Baylor knocks off Oklahoma.

Bowl Eligible Teams: Baylor, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, TCU
Eliminated From Bowl Contention: Kansas
