Taught a Master's Class
NC State Wolfpack
Russell Wilson passed for 333 yards and 3 scores, while completeing 26 of his 40 passes in a 30-19 win over Cincy. The Wolfpack cruised to a 30-7 lead, and Mustafa Greene solidified his hold on the RB job by running for 84 yards and a score. The defense sacked Zack Collaros 5 times, and held the Bearcats to 75 yards rushing on the night.

Virginia Tech Hokies
The Hokies very well could have fallen to East Carolina. At one point, I thought that they would. However a 28-0 run to close the game put all of that aside, and Tech saved themselves the disaster of starting 0-3. The Hokies run game, which was supposed to be their strength, paved the way on Saturday, as they rushed for 4 TDs. The bad news is that they lose RB Ryan Williams to injury, and it looks like it's gonna be a while.

Florida State Seminoles
Chris Thompson ran for an 83 yard score, while Christian Ponder passed fo one score and ran for another. The defense held BYU to 191 yards. This was the perfect way to bounce back from the Oklahoma thrashing of a week ago.

Didn't Learn Much
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Anthony Allen ran for 115 yards while Josh Nesbitt added another 104, but Tech was never able to pull away from North Carolina, who was down 12 players for this contest. Tech has not hit their stride, and they had better hit it soon.

Failing grade
Maryland Terrapins
We knew that the wall would come. The Terps rushed for -10 yards on the game, and Jamarr Robinson passed for 227 yards, but he didn't have a hope with the rushing game lacking. The Terps found themselves down 28-0 in a hurry.

North Carolina Tar Heels
I almost feel like I'm dumping on UNC, but this was supposed to be thier year. I never drank the Kool-Aid, but the scandals that have rocked their program have killed any hope of a bowl game in 2010. UNC could not tackle Allen and Nesbit.

Duke Blue Devils
We all knew that the Devils had no shot against Bama, but this was a joke. Everything fell apart, and nothing went right, and the game was over before it began.

Clemson Tigers
The Tigers had Auburn up against the ropes at half time, and they let them up to fall OT. The Tigers wasted great performances by Kyle Parker and Andre Ellington, and now they look like a team that needs to find a new identity.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons
Wake Forest found themselves down 41-10 at the half. Wake fell apart, but it would seem to me that the late start very much worked against The Deacons. Kickoff took place at 11:15 eastern time.
