Taught a Master's Class
Oregon Ducks
The Ducks are on absolute fire right now. This may be the best team that Oregon has ever had, and they are definately in the race for a national title. Darron Thomas passed for 4 scores, LaMichael James rushed for 227 yards and 2 scores, and 6 different Duck backs averaged over 4 yards per carry. The D sacked PSU QBs 4 times, picked off 2 passes, and recovered 3 fumbles, all while allowing only 140 yards and 7 first downs. DOMINATING!!!!

UCLA Bruins
Welcome back to the top of the heap for a week! I don't know where the team that beat up on Houston Saturday night came from, or if we'll ever see them again, but man that was fun to watch. The Bruins finally found a fluid rushing attack, with Jonathon Franklin rushing for 158 yards and 3 scores. The O line was blowing holes open everywhere, and the D was flying around. This was a complete departure from the first two weeks.

Arizona Wildcats
Arizona passed what will go down as one of their biggest tests in 2010 by jumping out early on the Hawkeyes and holding on for dear life at the end. The Wildcats held Iowa to 29 yards rushing on the game. Nick Foles was solid again, and he is moving up the MVP charts at the QB position.

Stanford Cardinal
Jim Harbaugh is a genius. Andrew Luck will be playing on Sundays in 2 years. Chris Owuswu will be joinging him there. The Cardinal as a team rushed for 6 scores, and QB Andrew Luck passed for 4 more (2 to Owuswu) and Harbaugh was still calling in passing plays with the Cardinal up 55-24. gotta love it.

Didn't Learn Much
USC Trojans
Once again, there really was not anything impressive about USC's win over Minnesota. Allen Bradford rushed for 131 yards on just 12 carries, but Matt Barkley was picked off twice. The defense wasn't phenominal, but did manage to pick off Gopher QB Adam Weber twice as well. Nothing special, but another win.

Oregon State Beavers
OSU never could pull away from a bad Louisville team, and that was a week after OSU had a bye week. Add to that fact that the Beavers were at home, and OSU really looks very unimpressive right now. That's a bad thing with Boise State coming up.

Failing Grade
California Golden Bears
The Bears had not been to Reno since 1915. After last Friday, they are hoping that it will be another 95 years before they go back. It seemed like everytime I looked up at the TV, Colin Kaepernick was scoring somehow. As was said on AM 920 in Vegas this afternoon, Nevada plays like a video game. Cal did not, and Kevin Riley looked like the old Kevin Riley again. Not a good thing.

Washington State Cougars
Can we all just cut the crap and announce that the Paul Wulff thing hasn't worked out...at all? WSU just continues to flounder and waste away in the PAC-10.

Arizona State Sun Devils
You had to kick a PAT. That's it...a simple little PAT...and you had to block one guy...like chewing gum and walking. The PAT got blocked and ASU lost. A SIMPLE PAT!!!!!

Washington Huskies
OK...I admit it. I pumped up Jake Locker in the pre-season. I was that guy. Now I am telling the world....sell your Jake Locker stocks now!!!! It's falling faster than BP and Middle Eastern Security Companies combined. He went 4 of 20 with a pair of picks. Who goes 4 for 20???

Week 4 Schedules
USC (3-0) at Washington State (0-3)
UCLA (1-2) at Texas (3-0)
Stanford (3-0) at Notre Dame (1-2)
Oregon State (1-1) at Boise State (2-0)
California (2-1) at Arizona (3-0)
Oregon (3-0) at Arizona State (2-1)
