BIG TEN

Ohio State Athletic Director says the Big Ten Conference will not expanded beyond recent addition of Nebraska from the Big 12 Conference.

BOISE STATE
DB Winston Venable will be suspended for the first two quarters of Saturday game Vs. New Mexico State after the Western Athletic Conference reduced his suspension from one full game after and illegal helmet to helmet hit on Oregon HB Jacquizz Rodgers in last Saturday’s game.

CINCINNATI
CB Dominique Battle will miss the rest of the season torn ligaments in his left knee.

WEST VIRGINIA
HB Noel Devine (Right toe injury) is expected to play vs. Nevada-Las Vegas on October 9th.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
DL Armond Armstead (Shoulder injury) returned to practice this week after missing Saturday’s game at Washington State.

OREGON
Head Coach Chip Kelly signed a 6-year, 20.5 Million dollar contract extension

MICHIGAN STATE
Head Coach Mark Dantonio plans to coach from the press box for Saturday’s game vs. Wisconsin. Dantonio suffered a mild heart attack two ago following a victory over Notre Dame.

CONNECTICUT
Huskie K Dave Teggert and LB Jerome Williams were both arrest and charged with breach of peace for fighting with each other in Storrs, CT.

UCLA
QB Kevin Prince (Sore knee) did not practice Tuesday. G Jeff Baca (Right leg) returned to
practice Tuesday. Baca is academically ineligible this season and will work with the scout team.
