Colorado Cleared To Join New PAC-12 Next Season

The Colorado Buffaloes have worked out a deal with the Big 12 to leave after this academic school year to join the new PAC-12 for the 2011 football season, joining Utah as the 2 new members of the conference. The buy out of 6.3 million dollars was significantly less than what was originally quoted, and part of the money will be fronted by the PAC-12 as to not hammer on the already fragile budget of Colorado University. PAC -12 Commisioner Larry Scott will now begin hosting high level meetings to immediatley plan divisional allignment and scheduling for the 2011 season in a 12 team format.
