Taught a Master's Class
Miami
The Canes time warped back to the 80's for the Pitt game. The defense was dominant, and Jacory Harris can use this game as a comeback platform.

NC State
Russell Wilson passed for 368 yards and 3 scores, and then rushed for another. The Wolfpack finally looks to be on the right track.

Virginia Tech
Guess who's back...The Hokies wouldn't stay down for long, and they are on a mission to win the ACC. It's still within reach.

Virginia
You had better master a team like the Keydets whenever you play them. Not one of the better programs in 1-AA.

Florida State
The Seminole proved that they're not dead, and anytime you pick up the shutout, you can be proud. Great effort this week.

Didn't Learn Much
Maryland
The Terps sort of muddled their way through the win over FIU. This won't go down as the achievement of the year, and now you start to worry about what the rest of the year can bring.

North Carolina
It was good to get the win for the Heels, but this was hardly the toughest team that they'll play all season. This is not a good indicator as to what we can expect from this point forward.

Failing Grade
Georgia Tech
The wheels are coming off of the wagon. The Jackets are in dire need of a win just to get their mojo back. As I have said many times, you had better find a way to pass, as this game ended early because GT had no real threat to move the ball quickly down the field.

Boston College
The Eagles got close to cracking the Bilo Poll top 25, and now they are nowhere near getting in, and they have a QB issue with Dave Shinskie, who was completely exposed by the Hokie D.

Duke
It's getting ugly in Durham, but then again I predicted that back in August for the Blue Devils. No replacement has been found for Thaddeus Lewis at QB, and we're a month in.

Wake Forest
When the season kicked off, I thought that Wake may have been a surpriser in the ACC. I don't think that anymore. Stanford basically sucked all of the confidence out of this team last week.

Week 5 Schedule
Miami at Clemson
Florida State at Virginia
Virginia Tech at NC State
East Carolina at North Carolina
Duke at Maryland
Georgia Tech at Wake Forest
Notre Dame at Boston College
