The Cardinals went into the half only tied with 1-AA Southeast Missouri State, but pulled away in the second half winning 27-10. Ball State rushed for 243 yards with Eric Williams rushing for 105 and Cory Sykes rushing for 70 more on the night. This was not an impressive win for BSU.
