FBS MVP Candidates-Punt Returns

Here are the best punt returners in 2010 that will be eligible for the Bilo All American Teams...

1. Tony Logan, Maryland...With the Terps winning again, someone has to get noticed, and Logan's 83 yards per game and 2 TDs have played a major factor in Maryland's resurgence.

2. Steve Smithson, Utah...Smithson is averaging just under 80 yards per game and has run to punts back for scores this season as the Utes are quietly sneaking up on a showdown with TCU.

3. Patrick Peterson, LSU...Peterson has been mentioned by some as a Heisman candidate. I am not sure about that, but he certainly is the driving force behind LSU's success.

4. Cliff Russell, Oregon...The Ducks are an unstoppable force right now, and even special teams have been covered when Russell gets the ball.

5. Keshawn Martin, Michigan State...Martin averages just over 18 yards everytime a punt lands in his hands. Once Martin sets up the Spartans offense, the backfield takes over.

Honorable Mention

Greg Reid, Florida State
Randall Cobb, Kentucky
Jeremy Curley, TCU
Patrick Edwards, Houston
Niles Paul, Nebraska
