FBS MVP Candidates-DL

The D line candidates for the Bilo All American Team

1. Vinny Curry, Marshall...Curry leads the nation in sacks. Marshall is not winning big, but you have to run away from Marshall, because you don't want to run into him.

2. Kyle Wilber, Wake Forest...The Deacons have had issues with injuries, but Wilber has been healthy and highly productive. His 12.5 TFLs lead the nation.

3. Jeremy Beal, Oklahoma...His 6 sacks have been a major help for a defense that has a tendency to fall apart late in games. It's not Beal's fault that they do that.

4. Logan Herrell, Fresno State...Herrell falls into the tradition of attacking Fresno defenses of the past. Herrell has been hell on QBs and is a natural pass rusher.

5. Josh McNary, Army...He was one of the best pass rushers in 2009, and his successes continue in 2010 with 5 sacks.

Honorable Mention

Ryan Kerrigan, Purdue
Nick Fairly, Auburn
Da'Quan Bowers, Clemson
Brandon Bair, Oregon
Mike Daniels, Iowa
