Here is the second list for our MVP candidates at receiver. Again, not in any specific order, followed by the honorable mention group.
1. Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State...Blackmon has been emerging recently with some red hot games. He is at the top of his game right now, and with his QB clicking on all cylinders, Blackmon stands to make out like a bandit statistically.
2. Kealoha Pilares, Hawaii...When Moniz is your QB, someone has to benefit, and that's Pilares. Pilares is second on the nation in receiving yards per game, and he also has grabbed 9 TD passes.
3. Ryan Broyles, Oklahoma...Broyled and DeMarco have carried the day for the Sooners. Broyles has steadily been the best receiver for the Sooners, and he is only getting better.
4. Greg Salas, Hawaii...Two receivers from the same team making the list just shows how good the Hawaii passing game is. The Rainbows are blessed to have talent of this magnitude, and it also means that nobody can really draw double coverage.
5. TJ Moe, Missouri...The Tigers have quietly stayed with Kansas State and Nebraska in the Big 12 North., and every time Moe gets the ball in his hands, he is coming up inches short of a first down. He is pertinent to the Tigers passing game.
Honorable Mention
Alshon Jefferey, South Carolina
Tandon doss, Indiana
Lyle Leong, Texas Tech
Leonard Hankerson, Miami
Dane Sanzenbacher, Ohio State
