1. Henry Harris, Southeast Missouri State
Harris leads the nation in rushing, and has scored 7 TDs. All of that and SEMS is ranked #4 in the PRS. Harris is having one of the best seasons that a RB has ever had for the Redhawks.
2. Preston Brown, Tennessee State
Brown leads the country in rushing yards per game at 152, and has cored 6 times. He is a major reason for TSU being on the bounce back after a rough first month.
3. Andrew Pierce, Delaware
Pierce has rushed for 749 yards and 8 scores. His play has been important at times as Pat Devlin had an early season injury at QB. Pierce became the focal point and has excelled. Delaware is also ranked #2 in the PRS, so his real heroics will become known at playoff time.
4. Frank Warren, Grambling
Warren is 2nd in the nation in rushing yards per game, and the Tigers are the front runner right now for the SWAC crown. Warren is a force of nature, and he is steady every single week.
5. Nate Eachus, Colgate
The Red Raiders have busted into the top 25 in the PRS (Bilo Poll) this week. Eachus has been a major league player this season, and the entire team rushing attack has been awesome. Colgate is a team that may sneak up on someone at the wrong time.
Honorable Mention
Eric Breitenstein, Wofford
Nick Schwieger, Dartmouth
Bryan Hilliard, Sacramento State
Tim Flanders, Sam Houston State
Everett Benjamin, Central Connecticut State
