Here are the most valuable producers at RB in the FCS:
1. Andrew Pierce-Delaware
The Blue Hens are ranked #5 in the PRS, and Pierce has been a huge factor in Delaware moving ahead, and I am guessing the Christine McConnell's withcraft skills have nothing to do with it, or do they? With Pat Devlin being banged up early this season, Pierce has taken on a big load, and it's working. He is averaging 149.5 yards per game and has seen the end zone 7 times.
2. Henry Harris-SE Missouri State
Harris was the OVC player of the week last weekend, after posting a 196 yard effort. It's going to be Harris' ball to keep if he continues producing at this pace, and the RedHawks are better for it, as they enter week 5 with a #9 ranking in the PRS.
3. Frank Warren-Grambling
Warren has carried Grambling into the PRS at #20 this week. Warren has averaged 162 yards per game with 4 scores, and the Tigers have a solid shot at winning the SWAC. Warren is the kind of back that will win games for you every week. Just keep him healthy.
4. Bryce Flowers-Western Illinois
WIU is ranked #8 this week, and Flowers has been an offensive focal point. He has scored 6 times in 4 games, and helped to keep the Leathernecks in the game during the loss to Purdue. On the efforts of Flowers, Western is right in the thick of an intense early season race in the MVC.
5. Myles Russ-Robert Morris
As Jeff Sinclair is having a very nice season at QB, it's the efforts of Russ that has kept defenses hoenst with his ability to run the ball and pick up solid yardage. It's hard to key on jthe pass when you have to defend against this guy too.
