ACC Review Week 6

Final Scores
Virginia Tech 45, Central Michigan 21
NC State 44, Boston College 17
Georgia Tech 33, Virginia 21
North Carolina 21, Clemson 16
Navy 28, Wake Forest 27
Florida State 45, Miami 17

Who's At the Head of the Class
Florida State, Maryland Atlantic Division
The Seminoles are the clear favorites right now in the Atlantic Division, and it's because of the run game and the defense, not Christian Ponder.
The Terps still have dates with Clemson, Miami, and FSU coming up, but this has been a huge surprise.
Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech Coastal Division
The Hokies have been on a mission ever since the loss to James Madison, and it would not be a shock to see them in the ACC title game, and it would be even less of a shock if they won it.
The Yellow Jackets have slowly come back from some early bumps, and they are looking to push the Hokies on November 4. Tech should win both games heading into that contest.

Barely Passing But Still Holding On
NC State, Miami, North Carolina
Of this group, the only real challenger would be the Wolfpack. They bounced back from a toough loss nicely by pounding BC last week. UNC comes next as they start to separate themselves from their pre-season off field issues, and Miami is falling fast.

Failing
Wake Forest, Clemson, Boston College, Virginia, and Duke
If Wake could just get healthy, they could pose a threat. Clemson is the only other team on this list that could push their way back in.

Week 7 Schedule
Maryland at Clemson...must win for the Tigers
Boston College at Florida State
NC State at East Carolina
Miami at Duke
Middle Tennessee at Georgia Tech
Wake Forest at Virginia Tech
North Carolina at Virginia
