Here is the list for our MVP Candidates at Receiver for 2010.
Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State
He may be one of the best players in college football at any position. Don't be shocked to see Blackmon on a Heisman ballot at the end of the season, as he has been spectacular. He leads the nation with 12 TDs, averages just over 159 yards per game, and has 955 yards receiving overall, and we have 5 more chances to watch him pile up numbers before the bowl game.
Greg Salas, Hawaii
If you have not paid any attention to the Rainbows, you should start doing so now. Salas has been a stellar member of the best recieving duo in America (teammate listed below) and is one game away from heading into the 1000 yard territory. His 61 catches ranks second in the country.
Kealoha Pilares, Hawaii
He averages almost 15 yards per catch and has found the endzone 11 times, second only to Blackmon. He is devastating in the open field, and with teammate Salas also running routes, he helps make Bryant Moniz the force at QB that he is.
Ryan Broyles, Oklahoma
Quite possibly one of the best receivers ever to where the Sooner uniform, Broyles is simply outstanding. He has made the development of Landry Jones that much easier, and is simply the go to guy in the OU passing attack.
Jermaine Kearse, Washington
Without Kearse running routes, how bad would Jake Locker really be this season? Locker finally has been turning things around this season, but Kearse is the guy that makes it possible. He had 4 TDs last week against Oregon State in the OT win.
