South Florida-West Virginia Preview

What's At Stake
The Mountaineers are considered to be the front runner in the Big East. If they win, USF would be eliminated from the conference title after just two games in conference play. The Mountaineers have hardly been dominating this season, the UNLV game aside, so now is the time to get serious.

South Florida Wins If...
If and only if they find some offense. Their defense cannot carry them every week, and the offense has been basically shit all season long. USF can keep it close, but that loss to Syracuse was very telling.

West Virginia Wins If...
The key is keeping the USF D  from becoming a factor. Get some big plays early, and if WVU goes up by 10 or 14, it's game over for the Bulls. Noel Devine needs to bust some big runs, and Geno Smith needs to play smart and he should not try to over do it. Let the offense develop and find the intermediate recievers. Nothing fancy, just sure and steady.

Vegas Line
WVU -13.5

I PickWVU...The Mountaineers are really the best team that the Big East has going right now. Noel Devine is suffering a turf toe injury, but there is depth if he struggles.
