FBS MVP Candidates-KR

Here is your MVP list for kick returners...

1. Willie McNeal, Western Kentucky...Something other than Bobby Rainey has to be going right at WKU, and here it is. McNeal averages 127 yards per game on kick returns, and has busted one for a TD. He benefits from WKU giving up lots of points.

2. Eric Stephens, Texas Tech...The Red Raiders may be struggling lately, but not because of bad field position, as Stephens picks up 26.8 yards per return, and 120.5 yards per game.

3. Kerwynn Williams, Utah State...Williams sets up the offense by averaging 26.7 yards per return, but he leads the nation in return yards with 564.

4. Tony Drake, Colorado State...Drake averages 102.6 yards per game on returns, and due to the Rams being as bad as they are, he gets lots of opportunities. He makes the most of them.

5. Taveon Rogers, New Mexico State...Rogers provides one dimension to the football team that fans have no reason to hang their heads about, as he is dynamic in the return game. He averages 120.5 yards per game.

Honorable Mention

Robert Woods, USC
James Rodgers, Oregon State
DJ Beshears, Kansas
Eric Page, Toledo
Trent Richardson, Alabama
